Thank you for being a charter member and loyal supporter of Friends of Cyprus Association. We hope that the New Year is off to a good start.

2018 in Review

Friends of Cyprus had a good first year since our inception in January 2018. Membership has been robust. Our inaugural activity, the Cyprus Wine Tasting Event, was a huge success.

Our fundraising goals for 2018 were met and will now enable us the file for our charitable organization status under IRS section 501(c) (3).

What’s Ahead in 2019?

Our new Board has been formed for 2019 with the following board members and their roles or oversight responsibilities:

As we continue on our course, much needs to be done and we hope that you will help us make 2019 a stellar year for Friends of Cyprus. We have in the works two main cultural events for this year, plus several activities intended to promote membership and community building.

Time to renew your membership for 2019!

It’s time to make your commitment to the Friends of Cyprus. We have created a new membership category for family memberships as well as reintroduced the various giving levels. If you became a member during the wine-tasting event last November, your membership is valid through 2019.

Consider Joining a Committee

We have formed three committees to help us with our mission and objectives – Events, Membership and Development. Our desire is to have our members engage in any one of the three committees which will help further advance our objectives and allow us to further outreach to our new and existing Friends of Cyprus.
